A. In 1946 Juan PerĂ³n was elected president. Even though he was a militarist, his regime became very popular amongst large groups of the people from Artentina.
B. In Argentina, the government was weak. The leaders did not care much about what happened as long as the economy was strong. The military juntas were put in charge of watching the people. They got low pay and eventually, just like the leaders, they too stopped caring about their jobs.
