The Himalayas, or Himalayan, mountains stretch from the Indo-Gangetic Plain to the Tibetan Plateu. This mountain range is home the the worlds tallest mountain, Mnt. Everest. The Himalayas spread approximately 420,500 square miles. It expands throughout seven countries: Afghanistan, India, China, Pakistan, Myanmar, Nepal, and Bhutan.
