Steve Jobs had a pretty unique type of upbringing, mainly due to the places he lived. He got adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs in San Fransisco, and the family moved to Mountain View, California. Steve had problems in school, resisted authority figures, and got in trouble. His family gave him a lot of support, and listened to him when he told them they should switch school or he'd drop out. He moved to Los Altos, where he underwent a lot of changes as a high schooler. He became interested in electronics and literature. However, he was very individualistic, and didn't fit in with any group.
Life Influences
Steve Jobs thought about death and was influenced by a lot of spiritual ideologies that he learned during his after-college years. He wanted to do everything the best he could, because it is a short life, and people get only a small amount of time to do something great. This motivation was central to why he kept working, even just a couple months before his death.
