Animals

• Animals such as the musk ox, Arctic wolf, brown bear, and polar bears reside on the Arctic tundra.

These animals have adapted in order to survive the harsh climate. For example, they have modified their migration and hibernation patterns.

Also, the musk ox grows two layers of fur in order to protect itself from wind, water, and the cold weather. They also developed large hooves used to break ice in order to drink water.
