Treatment for Cri du Chat

There is no real cure for Cri du Chat syndrome, but there are many things people can do for the various symptoms of the disorder: 

- physiotherapy for the poor muscle tone that people suffer from

- speech therapy 

- communication therapy and teaching sign language, due to speech being delayed severely in most cases 

- and occupational therapy to teach coping mechanisms and motor skills.
