Symptoms of Cri du Chat syndrome

There are many symptoms people have when suffering from Cri du Chat syndrome: 

-  high pitched cat-like crying 

- mental retardation 

- developmental and speech delays 

- distinctive facial features (eyes far apart, smaller head, layers of skin over eyes, and dental distortion)

- and behavior problems including hyperactivity and tantrums
