However this perfectly adapted mammal couldn't have an advantage forever. It all started when a new vicious predator moved to the tundra. The new threat was more than the polar fomentin could handle so for its own survival it migrated to the taiga. In the taiga things were much different because of many variables. Now their main prey (squirrels) lived in trees and were active during the day. Of course it still ate do seals who had been forced to move to the taiga too. It's predators were now bears who were similar to polar bears. This new habitat had a very different climate too. In winter there was lots of snow and it was cold but not as cold as the tundra and in the summer the trees were green so the white fur wouldn't work during this season.

A radical change
