Frost wrote this poem strict iambic pentameter, which is still the traditional sonnet format. He uses Terza rima which is the ABA CDC DAD AA.
The poem is about depression. Its easy to tell that he is suffering with it because he starts every line with “I”.
he expresses how he can’t make eye contact with anyone he meets because his depression makes it difficult for him to interact with society.
He Titled the sonnet “acquainted with the night” because normal people are acquainted with the day time and he is acquainted with the night.
