Christmas Pickle

In the 1880s stores started selling ornaments imported from Germany that were various fruits in vegetables, including a pickle. The Christmas pickle tradition is to hang it up, and whoever finds the Christmas pickle first later will receive an extra gift. The Christmas pickle has many myths and legends on its origination, although none being plausible.
