How Can We Solve This Problem?

We can solve this problem by quarantining the Broad Street pump, which was the source of the problem. If more and more people drink from this pump, they will contract the disease and more lives will be lost. People will have to haul their water from the Soho pump, which is farther away. But this pump is not contaminated and safer to drink from.
