THE SOIL

Animals and humans need plants to survive and plants need soil to survive that is why it is even more important to maintain soil than it is for plants. Sea water is salty and when the Tsunami hit the soil and it absorbed the salty water. So now the effect is that the soil now has salt in it and is not as fertile as before which means that It will be hard for plants to grow or they will not grow at all. Like the plants and animals the soil will also be tested. This will help us because then we will be able to know the level of salt in the soil and that can tell us which plants can grow and which plants can't. To conclude recovering the soil will be the most difficult and expensive part of the management plan, but it is the most Improtant. If the soil isn't right nothing will grow and animals won't have anything to eat.
