Where would we be without the Romans?

-Established Democracy

     -We'd probably be under rule by a Monarch

-Roman Catholic Church

     -Muslim would have a larger grasp on the world

     -Christianity could've possible died out

 -Sewage and Water

     -Indoor plumbing would not be as developed

     -Sewage systems would be disease ridden

     -The water system wouldn't be as sophisticated

     -Heated water system would likely be a luxury

-Architecture

     -Arches would not be as popular

     -Public gatherings and government buildings would not look the same

     -There would be less variation in architectural styles

-Aqueducts

     -L.A. and New York would most likely not have their aqueducts

     -Rome and the surrounding areas would not have a developed water system

     -Water transport systems would not be as sophisticated
