Two exams, both alike in dignity ... How are they different?

Both English exams ask you to read and write in advanced ways, and they have a slightly different focus. The English Language AP focuses on argument and rhetoric without looking specifically at literature, and The English Literature AP looks at poetry, prose, and drama from different eras.

Norfolk Academy juniors and seniors can take either or both exams.
