1. Know what you know: read all your old papers, quizzes, notes, assignments, anything you can get your hands on from all your courses in English. Spend a little time thinking about your development as a writer and thinker. What essays and books taught you the most? Why?

2. Take some practice tests. We will provide you with some, but if you need additional practice, then buy a book. The more practice tests you take, the more likely you are to know what to look for on these ETS tests.

3. Read all the attachments Dr. Kidd sent you in his AP email and see him about any questions you have.

4. Understand the important terms for both exams. (sent to you in email)

5. Write practice essays, and let Dr. Kidd score them for you.
