What is Retinoblastoma?

Retinoblastoma is cancer of the eye, it is a rapidly developing cancer the comes from immature cells of the retina. There are mainly two different types, Unilateral and Bilateral. I have Bilateral Retinoblastoma which means I had it in both eyes, Unilateral however means that it is only in one eye. The bilateral form is most commonly inherited, although mine is not. Most common cases are unilateral but bilateral isn't rare. Survival of this disease is very high, 95-98% for unilateral cases, and 70-80% in bilateral cases.
