Treatments and Cures

Although there is no defiant cure for cancer there are some treatments:

~Brachytherapy- involves the placement of a radioactive implant or plaque.

~Thermotherapy- heat is applied directly to the tumor

~Cyrotherapy- is directly freezing the tumor

~Systemic Chemo- most commonly used treatment for tumor that are to large for local treatment. Normally used for bilateral cases.

~Loss of the eye can also occur if nothing else is working.
