Ranking:
Franklin D. Roosevelt is first. He became president during the Great Depression. He made The New Deal Programs and helped many people during the Great Depression.
Herbert Hoover is second. He did not have many monumental events during his presidency that the Americans like. Many people did not like Hoover during his presidency.
Franklin D. Roosevelt became President during the Great Depression. I believe Roosevelt was a very strong leader for this country. He helped more United States Citizens in his first hundred days in office than any other President. He helped the unemployed, the poor, the older men and women of this country tremendously with the New Deal Programs. I believe Roosevelt was a very important and influential President.
Herbert Hoover came into presidency right as the stock market crashed and the Great Depression started. He became the leader of this country in desperate times and left office with very little improvement. I do not believe Hoover helped this country in a way Roosevelt did. I think he left the office as bad as it was when he became President. While Hoover did help the country in a positive way, it was not enough to be remembered as one of the greatest Presidents of the United States.
