Artifacts of Jericho may have included, extra food or surplus storages, bricks, human and animal corpses, jewelry, pottery, animal bones, animal skins, and tools such as knives, spears, spear throwers, and chipped stone tools, like stone knives, and possibly small ritual statues. These artifacts may tell us things such as what types of rituals did they perform? How did they hunt? Was life easy so that they had many surpluses? Did they bury dead with symbolic cloth or jewelry? Did they have certain religious holidays? These questions can all be answered with artifacts such as the ones I listed above. Some of the artifacts I listed have been found, and they have answered the questions I listed. Archaeologists play a very important role as to solving the mystery of what has happened in the past and they can sometimes find artifacts that answer these questions. Some artifacts have been found with writing in Hebrew on them, so we can assume that people were Jewish and practiced the religion of Judaism.
