Federal Government

Federal government is when the central government and the state government share power.meaning the central government doesn't have all the power over the states and the other way around. They work together in making laws and making a better country. The states also has equal rights. They could make their own police department but not an army. Each state can also make their own schools and decide in what they learn and how they learn. The states could also make their own laws but it can not go against the Constitution because the Constitution is the supreme of the law. Meaning the state nor the central government can make laws that violate or go against the Constitution
