Mexico
A. Neo-colonialism was fairly successful in Latin America, however, due to the nature of its dependence on one raw export, it was very vulnerable to fluctuations in world economies. The growth caused by this style of government was also one-sided.
B. Lazaro Cardenas confiscated many acres of land from landowners and redistributed to peasants in Mexico.
C. After the revolution Cardenas' institutions ended and a harsh and controlling government came into power and took absolute control of foreign relations.
