Lifespan of the Victim

When someone is diagnosed with Hepatitis B they are given shots to help boost their immune system to fight off the virus. If the immune system succesfully fights off the virus then the person will become an inactive carrier.

However, the infection could develop into what is known as chronic hepatitis B. This long term condition requires constant treatment and can result in various liver problems.
