Leaf-footed bug

Genus: Coreoidea

Rank: Family

Scientific Name: Coreidae

Leaf-footed bugs or Squash bugs can be found all over the United States, and are mainly on farms or gardens because they like to suck the nutrients of squashes and pumpkins, and also the sap out of leaves. The bugs lay their eggs in the spring and become mature adults by summer. These bugs do a lot of damage to leaves, farms and gardens and are highly controlled.
