Section out hair 

Start with 1&2 at the bottom 

Start with the middle section 

Stand to the side of the part and blow dry

UP DOWN UP motion

Direct the hair down the hair shaft to make it shinier 

Bevel (optional) that section of hair 

Move to right then left sides

Work up the head

Spray with product either each section or over all result

The paddle brush can be used to smooth and straighten hair. 

Paddle brush is mostly for long hair

Denman is usually for shorter length, textured hair. This technique is most often applied to one-lengthand graduated cuts and a variety of hair textures.
