2. Explain the importance to investigate the transition of inherited traits in plants and animal breeding?

Roses

Roses have sacs in their petals which contains pigment. The pigment is able to absorb transmit and reflect a white light.

Selective breeding

Pros

Selective breeding is choosing a specific organism so you can inherit their trait into another organism, so that the other organism can perform better.

Selective breeding can help your crop output. It can help you increase your crop amount per year.

Cons

Even though the plant has went through selective breeding the offspring from that plant will not have those same features as the parent organism.

History

The first known animals that were selectively bred were pigeons, cattle, cats, and dogs.

An animal from today that was selectively bred in a negative way was the bull terrier dog. In the 19th century it once had jaws that were made for locking on to wild pigs and semi wild Bulls.
