Algae

Algae is similar to the broad leaf. The epidermal cells are transparent, and the chloroplast in the center of the algae makes it look green. The palisade layer is also green. However, in that layer, the cells are tightly packed. The mesophyll, like broad leaf plants, contain chlorophyll, and are green. Also, algae's photosynthetic pigments are more varied than those of plants.
