Great White Shark

Habitat: They prefer warm, salty, temperate coastal seas.

Main Prey: feeding on fish and other sharks.

Body Size: The great white shark can reach 21 ft in length 

Life Expectancy: 20 – 70 years

Average # of offspring:  Sharks can have from 1 to 100 babies at a time, depending on the type of shark.

Characteristics: 

1) Great whites can live up to 70 years.

2) They can swim at speeds of up to 15 mph
