How & Why
The coup was carried out by members of the CUP in retaliation against Freedom and Accord Party, who had regained control from an earlier vote rigging scheme by the coup the year before. Because the government of the time, led by the F & A party, had centered into peace and negotiations that were going to cause land loss to the empire, the coup was able to gain some popular support. Simmilar to Hitler, the CUP promised to keep true in the integrity of the Ottoman Empire, not "bowing" to European nations.
