The Ottoman Coup of 1913, sometimes called the "Raid of the Sublime Porte" was a coup d'état carried out by the Committee of Union and Progress. They took over the Ottoman government from the leading Freedom and Accord Party, ultimately withdrawing the empire from major European Peace Talks.
