Day of the Dead vs. Halloween

Día de los Muertos was originated in Mexico. Halloween was originated in the USA. For Halloween they do not have altars where they put food and sweets. Halloween has costumes and collects candy for children.

People still celebrate Halloween in Mexico, as people still celebrate Día de los Muertos in America. Halloween does not honor the dead ones. People dress up in scary, fun, pretty, etc. costumes for Halloween. Día de los Muertos has many more actual festivals then Halloween.

So in conclusion, Día de los Muertos is very more cultural and traditional than Halloween. Some Americans do not celebrate Halloween. Almost all the people in Mexico celebrate the Day of the Dead. So the Day of the Dead is more traditional than Halloween is.
