Día de lots Muertos is a Mexican holiday. This holiday is also called the Day of the Dead. It is celebrated on November 2 each year. This holiday is also celebrated in America as well.

Families set up altars also called ofrenda. On the ofrenda they put flowers fruits, popular food, sweets and drinks. The also place colorful skulls on the altar. The altars are created to welcome back the sound for a day.

In DFW there is the Denton's Day of the Dead Festival. There is also the Día de los Muertos Festival at the Latino Culture Center. Those are some ways American's celebrate the Day of the Dead.
