Management Strategies

By acting now we can help reduce the greenhouse effect for future generations. There is not one simple solution to stop the greenhouse effect but everyone can help by reducing their carbon footprint.

To reduce your carbon footprint you can:
• Cut down on using fossil fuels. By using alternative fuels such as biodiesel you can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
• Recycle. Recycling reduces the demand for energy to
produce new products.
• Plant trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide to
photosynthesise and store it as wood.
• Stop using CFCs. Although HCFs are also harmful they
are a safer alternative to CFCs.
