Circulatory System

The circulatory system is responsible for transporting materials throughout the body. This system transports oxygen, nutrients, and water to your body cells and carries away the wastes and carbon dioxide that body cells have produced. This travels through the whole body and is connected to all of your body cells.

Major Organs:

Heart- the heart sits near the center of the chest the constant pumping from the heart keeps the circulatory system working at all times.

Arteries- Carry blood with a lot of oxygen away from the heart where they need to go.

Veins- Carry deoxygenated blood to the lungs where they would receive oxygen.

Blood- This is the carrier of everything in the body.mthis transports hormones oxygen, and nutrients to keep the body healthy.
