Describe the formation of multicultural societies in European colonies
Societies of different cultural values were formed and included people from Europe, the iberian peninsula, american indians, and african slaves
Europeans ventured into the interior regions of the americas and radically transformed the social order in the regions where they settled in.
All European territories became multicultural societies where peoples of different ancestry lived together under European or Euro-American Dominance.
Spanish and Portuguese territories became multicultural and ethnically mixed because of migration patterns, native american inhabitants, and slave migration.
Men accounted for 85 percent of the spanish migrant population and due to the lack of women they entered into relationships with indigenous women, which soon made the mestizo (“mixed”) society, rise significantly.
