Mr. Stikes- "Stoutly built fellow of about five-and-thirty"(Twist 118). Works with Fagin and is romantically associated with Nancy, treats his dog and Nancy with no affection

Nancy- A woman who sells herself to men, seen as an object by men

Bull's Eye- "White shaggy dog, with his face scratched and torn in twenty different places" (Twist 118).

Oliver- "Weak with recent illness; stupefied by the blows and the sudenness of the attack;" (Twist 143).

Mrs. Bedwin- Mr. Brownlow's house keeper, nurses and cares for Oliver while he is staying at the Brownlow residence

Noah Claypole- used to bully Oliver, Mr. Bumble accused Oliver of attacking Noah without any reason
