World

-Pandemics of eclectic types have affected the world throughout history. Notably, one of those pandemics was given the name, Dancing Mania, which existed from 1373 to 1374. The Dancing Mania pandemic spread from Europe to Germany, the Netherlands, and England.

-Since cholera has started to spread from Calcutta along the Ganges Delta in 1817, millions of people fell victim to the disease. The World Health Organization estimated that when each year ends, there have been at least three and five million new cholera cases that have killed as many as 120,000 people. If not treated, cholera can kill people in a matter of hours.

-The illness from the 1918 Spanish flu came on quickly where some claimed to have felt normal during daylight but passed away from this flu in the evening. However, the people who contracted the Spanish flu and died were not said to have passed from the flu itself, but rather a number of complications, including bacteria, such as pneumonia.
