Significance of the battle
This battle was known as the turning point in the Revolutionary war, you'll find out why just in a teensy-weensy bit. The effect this battle put on the war is that it persuaded the French of the Americans great strength and how much capability the Americans had of winning. Then the French were assured that they wouldn't make a mistake by supporting the Americans with military aid. The French have many great supplies which could help the Americans a fortune. With the Americans and French squads together the Americans had a much greater chance of winning many other battles and/or the Revolutionary War, itself.
