How Radar changed WW2 and Life today
Radar is a radio detecting and ranging system which is used to detect distant objects by receiving radio waves that are reflected from the object. Radar changed the war because it gave soldiers time to prepare and defend themselves against coming attackers. Radar almost prevented Pearl Habor the soldiers operating the radar system informed the captain about the incoming planes.The captain just shrugged it off as a rookie mistake
Radar is used for many other things.Todays radar is used for many purposes such as navigation,air traffic ,targeting,weather tracking. Weather forecasting wouldn't be the same with out radar they are able to predict and track hurricanes paths 3 to 5 days in advanced. Time period is huge it gives people in that expected area time to prepare for the storm by stocking up on house hold goods or moving more inland
