Kublai Khan, Born in 1215, was the fifth leader of the Mongols. His reign lasted from 1260-1294 and he founded a division of the Mongol Empire called the Huan Dynasty. He was the grandson of Genghis Khan and one of many of his descendants that took the throne. He, like his relatives, was very determined to conquer land and therefore was very productive while in power. Their campaigning involved lots of freedom for the people they conquered which made them want to rebel less.
