- Lack of facilities and motivation are significant factors that support this finding


-Factors which contribute to this demographic include physical activity not promoted in high school, immense workload in senior and tertiary study, females in this age group subject to pre- conceived notions of unattainable body ideals, age group suffers low confidence issues and low self esteem which has an impact on public engagement in physical activity


- Nepean River walk does not encourage or promote the use of facilities by this age group.

Results and Data Collection

~ Data indicated least amount of participants using the river walk were young female Australians between the ages of 15-25.
