Third degree burn-
Just like a second degree burn , the third degree burn also effects the epidermis and dermis of the skin, but what makes the third different is that it goes into the fat layers of the body also. Some signs you will see with a third degree burn would be that the skin may appear leathery or tan and may even be waxy and white. This type of burn can destroy nerves and may lead to causing numbness in the area of damage. A burn like this may also leave scaring on the body and could lead to the nerves remaining forever damaged.
