Type HbAS/ Sickle Cell Trait

Sickle Cell Trait or HbAS is one sickle gene and hemoglobin trait A, the normal hemoglobin trait. People with SCT do not show signs of the disease and often live normal lives. They can pass the gene onto their children though.

SCT is not a form of SCD.
