The science behind starfish
What is a starfish?
Sea stars, or more commonly known as starfish are very well known sea creatures. The starfish is not actually a fish but rather a echinoderm closely related to sea urchins and sand dollars. There are around 2,000 species of starfish around the world all varying in color, size, and the possibility of the limb regeneration process. Besides the distinct 5 armed shape the starfish is otherwise known for it's ability to regenerate limbs. On the following slides you will see some of the more uncommon starfish among the sea and their limb regenerating possobilities.
