Geography of the Indian Subcontinent
The Indus Valley is located in the region known as South Asia, also known as the subcontinent (A large landmass that juts out from the continent) of India. Nowadays, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are a part of the Indus Valley, along with the mountain nations of Nepal and Bhutan. Mountains such as the Himalayas surrounded the Indus Valley, which served as a sort of natural protection for them.
