The Jimi Hendrix experience relied heavily on the talent of Jimi himself. Their first album, "Are You Experienced?" contained mostly incredible guitar riffs and solos with little vocals. Jimi was acclaimed to have a great stage presence and his performances lit up the crowd. After one stunning performance he lit his guitar on fire and the crowd exploded.

Later in the same year, The Jimi Hendrix Experience released their second album "Axis:Bold as Love". Their third and last album "Electric Ladyland" featured a song with Bob band experience great success, but split up later that year.
