Apocalypse. Neville is immune to the mutation everyone seems to be affected by. This mutation increases the individuals heart rate,aggression, and makes them really sensitive to sunlight. The doctor has to overcome many struggles during his journey to find a cure, while primarily being completely on his own. Near the end of the movie he meets a woman and her kid. Around this time they are attacked by hoards of the zombies when the doctor realizes his work succeeded. He sacrifices himself to allow his cure and the woman with her child to survive.
