History
Meth was developed in Japan in 1919. It was used in the World Wars, especially given to kamikaze pilots for combat effectiveness. By the time World War II rolled around, almost all sides of the war were giving meth pills, "pervitin", to their soldiers. The rush of strength and lack of regard for their lives made drugged soldiers excellent fighters. After the war, the drug was given to the public, and even advertised as a dieting aid until it was outlawed for its side effects.
