A few days after we had emerged the potato in the salt, we took it out, and these were my findings.

1. The salt DID change the potato. After the container was emptied of old salt, I noticed that my potato was black, and yucky looking. It was also squishy.

2. My potato weighed a lot less, than it had before. Before, it weighed 1.1 ounces. When I weighed the potato, it was only 0.4 ounces! I also noticed, the potato had shrunk.

A few days after taking the potato out for the 2nd time, we took it out a third, and wrapped it in gauze, and put

on the death mask we had made.

After wrapping it,

we placed it in the sarcophagus that we

designed.
