One of the most alluring reasons why many people like basketball is how exciting that the game can be. The game itself creates a passion that a big part of the world’s population shares and is certainly one of the most thrilling sports one can practice.

Basketball at Texas A&M University - Commerce is a big part of the University. Many students and faculty come out and watch our team during the season and come to together as a community to support our boys.

The coaches serve as excellent gatekeepers at picking and recruiting the right men for our team. The boys and coaches all share a common interest in helping one another reach their optimal level and combining their skills and talents in order to be the very best that they can be. Specialized lingo and motions such as clapping and praising each other during practice really benefited each of them to do even better.

Just by stepping into the gymnasium one can feel the tradition and heritage of lion basketball.
