ABOUT CHINESE CHESS

Xiang Qi, also known as Chinese Chess, is a very well known and popular game in China. It is played by people all over the world, such as China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and many more. The term "Xiang Qi" translate to "Elephant Game". The main object of this game is to either checkmate or stalemate your opponent,s general (king). Once you have "checked" the general, your opponent cannot eliminate the check, or move anymore pieces to prevent the checkmate. There are two teams,  red and black. Red starts at the South, and usually is the first to move. Black is at the north. Both teams (armies) consist of 16 pieces.
