Union Commander Robert Anderson was born in Kentucky, June 14, 1805. His most was the battle of Fort Sumter. The battle he'd lost. Through the battle he put on a great fight, and got a lot ammunition. Even though he lost this battle he was recognised as a national hero.
Confederate P.G.T. Beauregard was born on May 28, 1818. He was the first confederate general. April 12, 1861 he fired at the Union army's Fort Sumter. They later won the battle. None of his 500 soldiers died.
